House Drive app for iPhone and iPad

House Drive is specifically designed for capturing photos and notes during a house inspection. House Drive automatically uploads files to your Dropbox account, and can optionally integrate with an external website using a specifically formatted URL.

Capture Photos:
House Drive’s integrated camera captures pictures and stores them locally until they are uploaded to Dropbox. Photos are not saved in the Camera Roll.

Capture Notes:
(Optional) House Drive captures house specific notes (1 text file per house), and photo specific notes (1 text file per photo).


File Naming:
House Drive automatically prefixes the house Address / Id field (required) to every file name. File names for photos and photo notes are appended with a time stamp. House note file names do not include a time stamp.

Automatic Uploading:
Files are immediately queued for uploading once they are saved locally, and begin uploading immediately (internet connection required). House Drive uploads files continually while in the foreground, and continues to upload in the background (maximum of 3 minutes).


Settings:
Image Quality Selection - Choose from three image quality options: Low, Medium, and High.
Upload Folder - Once House Drive is linked with a Dropbox account, the user can select a Dropbox destination folder.
Enable Notes: House note functionality can be enabled / disabled manually.


(Optional) Integration with Web Site URL
House Drive integrates with an external website by clicking specifically formatted URLs from within Safari. The URL opens the local app, and can optionally pass parameters for the following:
House Address / Id
Dropbox upload folder
Flag to disable house note functionality


Limitations:
House Drive requires a Dropbox account to function. The app is not designed to permanently store files locally.
House Drive requires location services be enabled to include location data on photos.
Dropbox syncing is one way, from House Drive to Dropbox.
